Aashi comes in a wide array of colours,  and is incredibly soft but strong from the layers of fabric and the hand embroidered stitching .

Kantha is a centuries old tradition of stitching patchwork cloth from worn fabrics or saris  , which evolved from the thrift of rural women . This skill has been passed down in learning and dowry from mother to daughter . It is a way of giving textiles a new life .

Recycling at its best .

Our shoppers are made from 2 vintage cotton saris or more hand stitched together with a simple running stitch ,running threw the fabric .
