Cotton Suzani Cushion C48

This cushion cover is made from authentic Uzbekistan Suzani dating from anywhere between the18th and 20th century.
These panels are meticulously hand embroidered with silk threads usually by brides and their mothers as part of a dowry and presented to the groom on their wedding day.

They are rich with colourful motifs and vibrant patterns.
From time to time, there will be marks from the maker of the original artwork which has been drawn by hand. These marks tell a story of its creation. 

Originally this panel would of been a large tapestry but it has been up cycled into beautiful cushion covers. They will bring a touch of global history & colour to your home.
