You all loved our Maria dress last year that we have decided to bring her back this year but this time we have added pretty cotton lace detail on the tiers and sleeves , also we have taken on board that you felt like she was fitting a bit big so this year our Mona Lisa dress will be fitting more true to size so we recommend going for your usual size .
Mona Lisa is crafted in a super soft organic cotton with a half organic cotton voile lining*. It is hand screen printed in a simple but beautiful motif , which just sings summer to me.
It has a hand shirring bodice , petite frill neckline with bell 3/4 length sleeves giving it a nod to the 70s era . The skirt has 2 tiers with cotton frill detail and a frill peplum hem, internal side pockets. Dress it up & you have the perfect party dress with big beads , heels or tone it down for a casual look with simple flats and a straw bag .

Our Block Print collection are all made from 100% Organic Cotton.
Made by skilled artisans which pass down this craft from generation to generation, we have used a form of Bagru printing which is a type of hand block printing which uses vegetables, mud and sand etc to create natural pigments which are kinder to the environment.
Many of the dyes require months of curing for the desired colour to develop.
Weather ,water quality ,changes in the crop and also the amount of sunlight all affect the outcome of the colour.
Due to the nature of the block there may be slight imperfections in the fabric.
We see these impressions as the story of the block and hand and celebrate it at Pink Lemons.

Best care washing advice:
Hand/delicate machine wash in cold water inside out using mild detergent.
Wash with similar colours. Your clothes will get softer with every wash.
